GYM
• Shortest Day Fun Run
As an NAS Keflavik resident,
you can’t miss the Jingle Bells
Shortest Day Fun Run. This
annual chilly dash is guaran-
teed to provide laughter, exer-
cise and a cool t-shirt to
everyone that runs.
• 8-Week Fitness
Challenge
If you are already planning
those New Year resolutions,
the gym staff is ready to help!
The 8-Week Fitness Challenge
begins January 6 and offers
great fitness programming,
motivation and support. If you
are interested please call the
Gym at x6491.
TOP OF THE ROCK
• Christmas Eve Party
Join us for this annual event
that includes great music on
both sides of the house, and a
mountain bike giveaway.
Open from 7PM - midnight.
• New Year’s Eve Bash
Get ready for the best event on
base as we welcome in 2003
in style! The evening begins
with a Las Vegas Review DoD
show at 9PM and goes from
there. Enjoy a great buffet at
midnight, champagne, prizes,
giveaways, and much more.
Tickets are $ 10 and available
for advanced purchase begin-
ning Monday, Dec. 16. Call

LIBERTY
• Christmas Eve Bowling
Enjoy free bowling and shoe
rentals on Christmas Eve from
2-6PM. Pick up your vouchers
at the Windbreaker.
• Fireworks in Reykjavik
We are taking a van to
Reykjavik on New Year’s Eve
for the awesome fireworks and
fun celebrations. Van leaves at
10pm. Cost is $20 (nonrefund-
able) and must be paid by
December 20 to confirm.
BOWLING ALLEY
•Christmas Day Bowling
Brought to us again by Arctic
Bowl and AT&T, enjoy free
bowling (up to 3 games) from
noon-8PM. There will also be
lucky winners when AT&T
gives away 3 bowling balls!
• New Year’s Eve Bowling
Kids Evening Special is from
6-8PM and for only $5 per
person includes 2 hours of
bowling, a free soda and hot
dog, and complimentary
sparkling cider to “ring in the
new year” at 8PM.
