MWR recently performed
a customer satisfaction sur-
vey. From July 8th to August
11th surveys were conducted
in the following eight MWR
programs/facilities: Bowling
Center, Library, Tour Office,
A.E. House Gymnasium,
Youth Center, Liberty/
Windbreaker, Arctic
Outfitters, and Auto Hobby
Shop.
A total of 598 completed
surveys were returned. The
overall satisfaction score was
8.8 out of a possible 10.
In order to encourage par-
ticipation MWR gave away
incentive prizes for returned
surveys. Prizes were in the
form of tickets to various off
base recreational activities for
a total of $750. These includ-
ed tickets to the Saga
Museum, Blue Lagoon and
Whale Watching. All partici-
pants had an opportunity to
submit their names into a raf-
fle drawing. The winners of
the drawing are listed in the
box below.
The survey was in the
form of 25 program related
questions, which has proven
to be a reliable and valid
measure of service quality,
representing past transactions
or experiences with MWR
services, events or activities.
The main target was the mea-
surement of an overall cus-
tomer satisfaction score for
each program.
Delivering quality service
means meeting customer
expectations. As a service
organization, MWR primarily
exists to satisfy customer
need. Through these surveys
MWR is able to identify
areas of need and satisfac-
tion.
MWR would like to thank
everyone who took the time
Congratulations to all of the
drawing winners. Thank you
for participating.
