Recent confusion
regarding the upcom-
ing Internet Marketing
Workshops has been
resolved and the
events will be held as
scheduled on Monday,
November 21, and
Tuesday November 22
at the Grand Hotel
Reykjavik.
The Fretabladid article of
October 11 and news
reports at Stod 2 regarding
“Mail Scam Suspicion”
raised some concern about
the validity of mail invita-
tions to attend the upcom-
ing Internet Marketing
Workshops. The article
reported that Hrefna
Johannsdottir at the Grand
Hotel Reykjavik decided to
cancel the events because
she was unable to contact
the person who made the
booking.
Workshop planner Chris
Hover called Hrefna
Johannsdottir at the Grand
Hotel Reykjavik shortly
after reading the article.
“All issues have now been
resolved and the events
will be held on November
21 and 22 as scheduled”
says Hrefna. “The compa-
ny has made arrange-
ments for the full day
training events and has
orderd a very nice fully-
catered lunch.”
“Despite the recent suspi-
cion from Icelandic media,
we continue to receive reg-
istrations and workshops
are almost sold out,” says
C. Kevin Oliver, VP
Conference Relations.
“We’ve booked the hotel’s
largest available ballroom
and hope to accommodate
as many reservations as
possible throughout the
week.”
