This week TV viewers are in store for a few major
changes in our program schedule.
Due to an increase in feature film lengths, Final Edition
News which was formerly telecast at 11 p.m. will now
be seen at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. This final
newcast will be followed by the last program to be
scheduled that evening. However1^
on Friday and Saturday, a half-
hour drama will be shown af-
.ter Final Edition News before go-
ing into Northern Lights Play-
house.
The two new series entering
our schedule this week are “Sur-
vival,” a half-hour Information
show, and “Voyage To The Bottom
Of The Sea,” an hour drama.
“Voyage To The Bottom Of The
Sea,” starring Richard Basehart
and David Hedison is about the
action-filled, dangerous missions
of the submarine Seaview in the
year 1973.
Basehart portrays Admiral
Harriman Nelson, USN (Ret.)
director of a marine research
institute and designer-builder of
the atomic-powered submarine.
Ostensibly a research vessel, the
Seaview is actually the most ef-
fective weapon afloat and is of-
ten assigned top secret missions
by the United States Government.
Hedison co-stars as Commander
Lee Crane, skipper of the Sea-
view.
HI MATE—Speaking of able-bodied
seamen brings to mind Gigi Vidal.
Though not regulation, her sum-
mer whites serve her well in her
appearance at the Cannes Film
Festival.

Money
Workers earn it,
Spendthrifts burn it,
Bankers lend it,
Women spend it,
Forgers fake it,
Takers take it,
Dying leave it,
Heirs receive it,
Thrifty save it,
Misers crave it,
Robbers seize it,
Rich increase it,
Gamblers lose it,
I could use it!
