We visit his hometown of New Concord, Ohio, where he grew up and aspired some day to go to the moon. John Glenn was one of the ori- ginal astronauts whose training culminated in a 4-hour - 56 min- ute - 3 orbit flight around the world in the Friendship Seven capsule.
