CABINET MAKER INTO ARMY
Teo 3 Henry Wherle of the Air Corps is a
master oabinet maker who practioes his art
far into the night - making Jewel oases, cig-
arette boxes and silver ohests of mahogany
burr, teakwood, Mexioan mahogany, dark wal-
nut and boxwood.
These fine woods are sent to Sgt, iVherle by
his friends baok home. Long a master crafts-
man for a well-known New York City firm, the
Sgt. has found relaxation after work in Ice-
land by making these articles which are known
for their superb workmanship and their imag-
inative design.
As shown in photo below, Sgt. .Vherle re-
cently exhibited his work at ARC Club 23 -
where he installed the bowling alleys and the
stage of the "Little Theater,"
