We don’t deny that Tiger is
one of our favourite discount
stores in the country. This time
around, we can highly recom-
mend buying a 400 ISK copy
of Cannonball Run on DVD. This
1981 road trip farce features the comedy stylings
of Burt Reynolds, Roger Moore and Jackie Chan,
starring in the role of “Subaru driver” that officially
brought him into Hollywood’s inner circle. In the
200 ISK category, we would be remiss if we didn’t
mention that Tiger now sells its own brand of con-
doms, sold in packs of three and available in either
lubricated or extra-thin.

Vínberið is one of those places
caught in a time warp. While you
can find candy in most major
supermarkets, candy is all Vínberið
sells (well, along with some fruit)
