schools last Tuesday through Thursday.
Gray-Foppiani wedding held
at naval station chapel Feb. 6
A wedding took place at the naval station chapel on February 6,
between Lt.(j.g.) Craig A. Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reese Gray of
Baltimore, Md., and Roseann Janet Foppiani, daughter of Mr. Edwin
Foppiani and Mrs. Eva Daneri of San Francisco, Calif.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father, and was at-
tired in a white silk gown, with
three-quarter length veil. Her
bouquet was of mixed white flow-
ers.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Shir-
ley Watkins, sister of the bride.
She was dressed in pink. Brides-
maids were Sharon Gray, the groom's
sister, and Greta Gudmundsdottir,
Sylvia Elliot, and Betty Adolfs-
dottir, friends of the bride. All
were attired in dresses of cran-
berry orchid.
Best man was Lt.(j.g.) Lewis
Burnett, friend of the groom.
Ushers were Lt. Jim Gall, Lt.
(j.g.) Jim Crawford, Lt.Cj.g.)
Jim Dunn, and Lt.(j.g.) Frank
Vega.
Flower girl was Amy Williams,
and ringbearer was Master Walter
Hocketstaller.
Mrs. Gray attended San Fran-
cisco State College, and has been
with the Civil Service at Keflavik
for the past four years. The
bridegroom is a graduate of Tulane
University, La.
The newlyweds will reside at
quarters 615A on base.

Embassy Marine weds
in colorful ceremony
Marine SSgt. Vincent M. An- .
drade, USMC, NCOIC of Marines
at the American Embassy, was mar-
ried to Miss Frances Nancy Aude-
bert in the Chapel of the Univer-
sity of Iceland on Sunday, Feb-
ruary 7.
The bride was given in marriage
by the Honorable Luther I. Rep-
logle, American Ambassador to
Iceland.
A reception was held at the
Marine house.
NCO Wives planning
March style show
A base-wide style show, spon-
sored by the NCO Wives' Club,
will be held in the 56 Club ball-
room on March 22 at 7:30 p.m. Mr.
Haukur Gunnarsson from Rammer-
gerdin in Reykjavik will bring
four adult,and possibly two child
models, to present the latest in
Icelandic spring clothing. There
will also be glit on exhibito

featured an array of
hand-made items, made
by the naval forces
wives.
The newcomers

be giving bridge les-
sons, starting on
