will be.many happy people due to
one of the results.

children requested the show "Sesa-
me Street" be brought to Channel

long.
"Sesame Street" will debut on

The initial show is designed as
an "Open Sesame" for all children
no matter where they are — for
they learn by pure magicl
The Emmy and Peabody Award
winning seriesis designed to pre-
pare pre-school children for for-
mal classroom education. Learning
segments are made up of three let-
ters of the alphabet and two num-
bers to help children relate sym-
bols to real things.
Each learning segment origi-
nates from Oscar, who is discover-
ed in various predicaments.
James Earl Jones presents the
alphabet and Bob and Susan listen
to Big Bird relate his experiences
with his mother and father tell-
ing everyone how much fun it is
to be a member of a family.
Susan reads the story "I Have
a Tree," and Silly Song Time con-
cerns a "before and after" situa-
tion.

ues and painted panels that re-
flect the effect of Rennaissance
art.
Perhaps the most dramatic ex-
hibit is the savage array of
weapons and tools from the notor-
ious Viking era, which gave Ice-
land the distinct personality that
many people envision when Iceland
arises in conversation. Even
though these artifacts are quite
old,a strange find on the eastern
shore of the island lends specu-
lation on the first inhabitants
of the island.
Four Roman coins, dated from
the third and fourth centuries
have been unearthed but they are
now considered to have been
brought back by a Viking expedi-
tion, as evidenced by a Viking
site situated close by.
Iceland has remained dependent
on the sea and the small fertile
areas that nestle the coastline
valleys. In the lower rooms of
the museum can be seen the result
of adaptation to the geographic
influences. Domestic utensils,
farm equipment, models of fishing
vessels and rigging are exhibited
in order to reconstruct the life
style that eventually developed
into the industrial revolution of
modem Iceland.
The museum is open SundayJ
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
from 1:30-4 p.m.
The National Art Gallery is
located on the second floor of
the Museum building and will be
the I.I.A. topic for next week.
Who is this Masked Man?
In a situation that looks m
thing but conspicuous, a man
mask steals away from the
commissary... and with a package7
no less*
But don't turn him in to se-
curity. He's a patron like you.
He simply stepped into the path
of our Falcon mystery camera.
Identify him if you can, and
unmask him. Need a clue? What
does he have in the package?
