NRSO to celebrate 25 years
of service to Navy families
The Navy Resale System is com-
memorating 25 years of service to
the Navy community. This month
marks a quarter of a century of
providing the Navyman and his
family with quality goods and
services necessary for their
well-being and comfort.
In celebration of its silver
anniversary, the Navy Resale Sys-
tem is passing along some excit-
ing bargains for its customers.
For ten days, April 15-24, anni-
versary specials are being of-
fered to all authorized patrons
in the retail store, service de-
partments and the commissary
store.
Savings of 15-35% off the reg-
ular exchange prices are being
offered on many men's wear items
such as blazers, dress jackets,
^port and dress shirts and watch-
For the lady of the house,
ices for selected jewelry, col-
ognes, sleepwear and skin care
products have been reduced. In
the children's department, there
will be some great buys on toys,
underwear, shorts and blouses.
The special events march along
to the exchange service depart-
ments, where you'll find big sav-
ings at the beauty shop, barber
shop, service station and the
laundry and dry cleaning center.
Savings are not the only fea-
ture of this gigantic 25th anni-
versary celebration. Special
signs will call attention to the
sales and savings for the anni-
versary .
Specific savings in the ser-
vice departments include some-
thing for all.

The service station is offer-
ing a free four-inch screwdriver
to each customer, $1 savings on

The laundry/dry cleaning cen-
ter is offering specials includ-
ing a 25% discount on all laundry
and dry cleaning brought in for
processing on April 15 and 16.
During the celebration, all
sweaters will be dry cleaned for
254 and there will be 25% off for
all tailoring over $2.
The vending department is go-
ing to set the juke boxes free
twice during the celebration.
The scales are free, and every
20th candy bar will be free. You
can get every 24th canned drink
and hot canned food free and for
the scenic music lovers, the
photo viewers will be operating
free. For the younger set, old
Dobbin, the pony in the lobby of
the main exchange will be bucking
free around the "corral."
For the ladies, the beauty
shop is offering free styling of
any wig purchased, and a special
price on manicures.
The barber shop is offering
haircuts at reduced rates.

In the personal services sec-
tion in the main exchange, pat-
rons can buy aluminum watch band
calendars for 254, engraving at a
50% saving, coats of arms reduced
to $20, and tankards and plaques
15% below regular price when en-
graved.

celebrates the 25th anniversary
of the Navy Resale System.
Fulkerson 200th Toastmaster
in ten year history of club
John Fulkerson became the 200th member of the Vulcan Toastmasters
at the NATO base.
He received his membership pin last week, and was welcomed into
the club by Toastmasters' president George Randolph.
The Vulcan Toastmasters is a
fully-affiliated member club of
the Toastmasters International, a
non-profit, non-sectarian, non-
partisan educational organiza-
tion.
According to president Ran-
dolph, "We are dedicated to the
improvement of our members' lis-
tening, speaking and thinking a-
bilities."
The club meets every Wednesday
at the 56 Club, at noon the first
week, and at 7 p.m. other days.
