Seaman’s day celebrations The annual Seaman’s Day cele- brations were held in Keflavik on Sunday, June 6. The pageant was marked with numerous competitive events that include tug-of-wars pillow fights, women's events and a soccer game. The festivities were held at the harbor in Keflavik. The most spectacular events were the tug- of-war and the pillow fights. In the former contest, the teams op- posed each other from two dock areas with a watery fate in be- tween for the losers. Sportsman- ship reignedas winners also jump- ed in.
