The Kansas City Chiefs take on
the Oakland Raiders at Oakland
Stadium at 9 p.m. Kansas City
will be trying for another win
after beating Washington last
week, while Oakland won over Cin-
cinnati. The winner of this game
will move into first place in the
AFC West.

Supply's Brad Floto rolled an
Artie Lanes record 276 game Oct.
16 in the third annual Keflavik
Bowling Association Tournament.
Before this record roll Brad
hit a 162 and then a 245 after-
wards for a 682 series which gave
him tournament high set honors.
Brad's previous high game was
269 which he rolled at the Elm
Grove Lanes in his hometown of
Wheeling, West Va.
At the age of 16 he won the
state AJBC (American Junior Bowl-
ing Conference) in the 16-18 year
old bracket. That same year he
took 12th out of 42 in the
tionals. He hit a 642 in
state and a 568 in the nationafli^^
All this comes with 13 years
of experience since the age of
nine.
Brad's average in the local
Intramural League is 180.
Bowling isn't his only compet-
itive sport. In high school he
played baseball, and in college
he made the All-Conference team
in golf. He was a member on the
base basketball team last season,
and is playing this winter.
Navy Relief unveils...
Education loans for dependents
Dependents of all Navy and Marine Corps people are eligible for
interest-free loans from the Navy Relief Society.
The Society is authorized to grant interest-free higher education
loans to needy dependent high school graduates desiring to attend
college or vocational school. ________________________________________
All loan applications are con-
sidered on the basis of need and
are available to dependents of
officers and enlisted men.
The loans are intended to make
up the difference between what
the student needs for his educa-
tion and what he can earn through
summer employment and his sponsor
can afford to contribute.
The loan is expected to be re-
paid by the dependent to Navy
Relief in monthly increments upon
obtaining employment after gradu-
ation.
Maximum loan per student per
year is generally $1,250 with a
total school loan of $5,000.
Sponsors of dependents may re-
quest applications or additional
information from the Navy Relief
