At 7 p.m. the weekly pool tournament is scheduled and Julie will show slides of her trek to Mount Everest. Tomorrow the snackbar features tacos. The trip to the swimming pools in Rey- kjavik leaves at 12:30 p.m. The cost of the trip is $2. Both a ping pong and a darts tourney will be held at the USO on Sunday at 1 p.m. At 4 p.m. there will be a ses- sion of "Kids Say the Darndest Things." On Sunday it's the weekly pancake breakfast followed by worship at 8 a.m. The Kingsmen Chess Club meets at the USO on Monday at 7 p.m. All chal- lengers welcome. Bake Bingo starts at 7 p.m. on Tues- day. After Bake Bingo, it's time for the weekly Pinochle Tourney. Tuesday is taco day at the USO. The Red Wall Snackbar features chili dogs and cheesecake on Wednesday. At 7 p.m. there will be a meeting for all those people interested in the USO spon- sored trip around Iceland. The USO will sponsor a tour of the aluminum factory and the wool outlet store on Thursday. The cost is $2 and the trip leaves at 12:30 p.m. Sign up now to be a contestant on Friday's Jeopardy match. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. The USO is sponsoring an "Explore Iceland Road Rally." Any vehicle can enter the May 22 race for a fee of 50c. A vehicle with four wheel drive is not necessary for the rally. Register at the USO to enter the rally. Registrations will be accepted until 8:30 a.m. the day of the race. It begins about 9 a.m. Youth Center news The Youth Center Student Planning Committee will meet Sunday at 1 p.m. The Youth Center Viking Judo Club is open for new members. Register at the Youth Center. Senior Judo Classes will start May 22 from 10 a.m. to noon. "Treasure Island" will be shown at the Youth Center at 2 p.m. on May 22. Reservations are now being accepted for summer camp at Hvitarbakki. Dates follows: for the camp are June 6-10 June 20-24 July 18-22 August 1-5 Reservations for Teens Teens 9-12 year-olds 9-12 year-olds the camp should be made at the Youth Center. Ouchless. Tomorrow—brunch at 10 a.m.: tomato rice soup, grilled cheese sandwiches and French fried potatoes. Dinner: baked lasagna, spaghetti w/heavy meat sauce, assorted pizza pie, polonaise broccoli spears and hot garlic bread. Sunday—brunch at 10 a.m.: logging soup, Coney Island burgers and potato chips. Dinner: Creole soup, teriyaki beef steak, natural sauce, baked potatoes w/jacket, sour cream, buttered summer squash and buttered brussels sprouts. Monday—Lunch: El Rancho stew or beef balls stroganoff, buttered egg noodles or tossed green rice, seasoned garden peas, ginger glazed carrots and hot biscuits. Dinner: Minestrone soup, cold cut platter of sliced roast beef, ham, bologna, salami, liver sausage and cheese, cold potato salad or potato chips and boiled navy beans. Tuesday—Lunch: tomato noodle soup, open face turkey sandwiches or chicken croquettes, gravy, potatoes, bread dressing, buttered whole grain corn and spiced beets. Dinner: cream of potato soup, Mexi- cana pork chops, natural sauce, cottage fried potatoes, simmered lima beans, polonaise broccoli spears and hot corn- bread. Wednesday—Lunch: French onion soup, honey glazed corned beef or grilled fish cakes, hot mustard sauce, parsley but- tered potatoes, fried cabbage and but- tered asparagus. Dinner: vegetable supreme soup, beef pin wheels or oriental skillet steamed rice or duchess potatoes, French cut green beans and fried squash. Thursday—Lunch: cream of tomato soup, stuffed cabbage rolls or ham cro- quettes, baked macaroni and cheese, but- tered green peas and paprika cauli- flower .
