Christmas bazaar nets
$1,555 in total funds
To obtain club funds and individual
club charity donations, the annual
base-wide Christmas Bazaar was held
Saturday afternoon at the A. T. Mahan
Elementary School.
The affair which drew "a good turn-
out", according to Phyllis Easley,
Christmas Bazaar committee chairlady,
raised $1,555.
The A. T. Mahan High School Junior
Class profited $107.55. The class spon-
sored a "Kiddie Komer", magic show and
refreshment counter.
For their cake walk and cupcakes, the
Brownies made $45, followed by the
Cadettes, who earned $15.
Participating clubs were the Of-
ficers' Wives, Chief Petty Officers'
Wives, Non-Commissioned Officers' Wives
and the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Fleet
Reserve Association.
