Advisor Ingrid Wiley, expresses her
appreciation and gratitude to each
Estee' Lauder customer. She will be
on hand during the promotion to say

Keflavik Estee' Lauder Representative.
Beauty Shop
In a never ceasing effort for bet-
ter service, the Beauty Shop has re-
ceived and installed eight new hair
dpyers and two new styling chairs.
This should make your stay with the
pleasant stylists shorter but still
pleasant. Dale would like you to
know that she is keeping the Salon
open on Mondays to help you face the
new week, looking your best.
Barber Shop
The Barber Shop has increased its
personnel with a new hair stylist.
This will increase the excellent back-
ground experience of the personnel
who are proficient in razor cuts and
layer cuts. Shampoos are available
to any customer wishing that service.
Do take advantage of the Barber Shop
whose personnel are eager to help you.
Navy Exchange Lodge
The Lodge is proud of its new con-
veniences, provided to make your stay
more comfortable and home-like.
There is a new washer and dryer
located on the second floor.
In the kitchen, there are two new
stoves with self-cleaning ovens.
There are two large refrigerators and
two dishwashers.
More renovations are planned for
the near future. But, it is a busy
place...Connie is taking reservations
for July after Monday. So, don't be
left out, reserve now and enjoy the
excellent facility.
Mini-Mart
If you haven't tried the fresh
barbecue chicken from the Mini-Mart,
you don't know what you are missing.
The exchange gets it daily from the
delicatessen, and it is delicious.
Also, don't forget about the daily
fresh and hot donuts. Those are a-
vailable after 1 p.m.
Mail order follow up
The Navy Exchange is receiving
numerous inquiries concerning mer-
chandise ordered by customers through
the Yokosuka Catalog.
All inquiries on merchansise order-
ed via this catalog should be made
directly by the customer to Navy Ex-
change Mail Order, FPO Seattle, WA
98760.
If, after 45 days since placing
an order, you have not received in-
formation concerning the order, write
a letter, including the following
information:
a. The Mail Order Number assign-
ed to your order. It appears on
your acknowledgment card, the ship-
ping Notification Form, the address
label of any shipping carton, or on
your cancelled check or money order.
b. The name of the person placing
the order, the date of the order and
the location from which it was placed.
c. The items ordered, and the
amount remitted,
Inquiries concerning customer-
initiated postal claims for damaged
items should not be sent to Navy
Exchange Mail order, but rather to the
post office where the claim was
initiated.
Catalog merchandise
If the merchandise which arrives is
damaged, or there is evidence of pil-
ferage, your order's insurance fee
will cover the reimbursement; you
should immediately take the damaged
articles and wrappers to the local
post office and initiate a claim on
U.S. Postal Service Form 3812.
Claims against the U.S. Postal Ser-
vice for loss or damage must be fil-
ed within one year of the shipping
date shown on the completed mail
order form. (If your claim on dam-
aged merchandise is less than $15 or
more than $200, write directly to
Navy Exchange Mail Order, FPO Seat-
tle, WA 98760 for disposition).
If the damaged merchandise is one
or more pieces of a set (for example,
china; for which you'll want replace-
ments, simply write to the above ad-
dress in the Form 3812 blank marked
"payee".
Be sure to indicate exactly how
many and which pieces were damaged,
the stock number and style of the
set (for example, "Sango Spanish
Lace Fine China, No. A-374887)."
The post office will then send the
claim to the Catalog Center to es-
tablish the exact value of the broken
pieces, at which time they'll note
the value of the broken items on the
claim and forward it to the U.S.
Postal Service's central claims-
processing branch, where a check is
received, the replacement pieces
have been received from the com-
pany, and automatically sent to you.
This process usually takes about
30 to 90 days.
If you do not receive your mer-
chandise within 30 days after the
shipping date indicated on the Ship-
ping Notification Form, write di-
rectly to Navy Exchange Mail Order
(Claims and Correspondence), FPO
Seattle WA 98760, and refer to the
Mail Order Number indicated on your
acknowledgment card. A claims action
will be initiated with the U.S. Pos-
tal Service.
Should any item be found defective,
write for pre-addressed mailing la-
bels and state reasons for return-
ing the item. The mailing labels as-
sist in providing quick and accurate
handling for any adjustments requir-
ed.
Defective merchandise will be re-
placed at no additional cost to you;
simply return the repacked parcel to
Navy Exchange Mail Order (Claims and
Correspondence), FPO Seattle WA
98760 via the same mode of shipment by
which it was initially shipped. You
will be reimbursed for postage and in-
surance costs incurred to return the
merchandise.
The above information should an-
swer any questions concerning Navy
Exchange Catalog merchandise. It is
the responsibility of the customer to
follow up on orders, insurance and
claims.
Commissary Store
Commencing Tuesday, the produce
flight will arrive Tuesday morning.
Normally, produce should be on sale
by 11 a.m. every Tuesday. Please
call A223 for up-to-date information
before shopping.
Operating costs are steadily in-
creasing. In an effort to cut these
costs, the Commissary Store is in-
stituting a grocery bag recycling
program. Customers are encouraged
to return all clean and useable
bags to the store ID desk.
The Commissary Store will be
closed Tuesday, April 5 for semi-
annual inventory.

Rooms for Naples and Rome
If you’re going to Rome or Naples in
April, the Tour Office has arranged room
accommodations for you. However, you
must be reconfirmed on the C-118 before
we can accept any room request.
The trip to Rome is from April 6 to
15. A block of rooms has been obtained
at the Holiday Inn near St. Peter’s.
Our hotel package includes room with
bath for nine nights, transportation to
and from the airport, and breakfast each
morning. We must have all room requests
by March 21.
The flight into Naples has been chang-
ed by passenger service to April 1A to
22. We have managed to book rooms at
Santa Lucia hotel, overlooking the Bay
of Naples for the time, and our package
includes nine nights room accommoda-
tions with bath. We must have all re-
quests for rooms in Naples by noon
March 25.
Concert
The next concert performed by the
Icelandic Symphony Orchestra will be giv-
en on March 2A. The conductor will be
Pall P. Palsson and the guest artist
will by Manuela Wiesler. The selec-
tions performed that night will be a new
work by Pall P. Palsson, Concerto for
Flute by Quantz, Concerto for Flute by
Rivier, and Symphony No. 8 by Beethoven.
Tickets will be on sale at the Tour Of-
fice next week from Monday until noon
Friday.
Easter charter to London
Want to spend Easter in London?
There will be a special charter flight
going from April 6 to 13. You can go
for either airfare alone, or for an air-
fare/hotel package with a choice of ac-
commodations at either the Strand or the
Mandeville. Whichever you choose to go,
plan to enjoy Easter in England. And
book soon to be sure of getting what
you want.

The gym has announced that daily
lockers are free of charge for a limit-
ed time. The daily charge will be re-
instated when key replacements arrive.
Patrons must provide their own locks
and must remove them at the end of each
day. All locks left on overnight will
be cut off.
The first Ambassador's Cup game was
played at the gym last week when the
Icelandic team defeated the NATO team,
95-71. The second game of the series
will be played in Reykjavik Monday at
8 p.m.
A reminder to those who participated
in intermural sports this winter: The
Intermural Winter Sports Banquet will
be held at the Officers' Club Tuesday
at 7 p.m. For more information, call
the athletic director at the gym.
The Arctic Bowl will close approxi-
mately April 15, 1977 for renovation
and will reopen about June 15. All
bowlers who currently rent bowling lock-
ers are asked to terminate them be-
fore April 1, 1977. This will facili-
tate relocation of lockers and prevent
damage to contents. Individuals may
fill out a new rental sheet if they
desire lockers upon reopening. Ap-
proximately 100 new lockers will be
added.
Did you know that the Hobby Shop has
a copy machine for your use? It is
located in the Tape Shop and copies may
be run for as little at 5 cents each.
Maximum charge is only 10 cents.
Don't forget the Hobby Show! If you
want to enter only one or two items, the
Hobby Center will take care of display-
ing your treasures and will return them
to you after the show. If you want a
booth, the center will arrange that too.
Of course, the booth becomes your re-
sponsibility to care for. All entries
will receive certificates of participa-
tion and prizes will be given to 1st,
2nd and 3rd place winners. Talk to the
ladies at the Hobby Sales Store today
about entering.
