roast at 2 p.m. Sunday.
To commemorate the Girl Scouts'
Birthday the USO will give a free ham-
burger and drink to any Girl Scout who
comes to the USO in complete uniform
Wednesday.
The macrame classes are in
full swing but are still wel-
coming new participants. If
interested, come to the Tues-
day evening 7 to 9 session or
the Wednesday afternoon 1 to 3
session.
April marks the start of

fliers work on a fledging airplane in
the days of pioneer aviation. Stars

TODAY: THE HUCKSTERS—A self-assured
veteran returns to the world of adver-
tising after the war. But he decides to
reject the business world because of his

TODAY: TOMB OF TORTURE—A beautiful
young woman must stay in a manor to rid
herself of horrible recurring dreams in
which she is chased by the living dead.

was the first "talkie." It made such an
impact that it changed the motion pic-
ture industry, making A1 Jolson a star.
A young boy wants to be a jazz singer
despite the objections of his strongly

SATURDAY: CASINO ROYALE—This comedy
was one of the all time top grossers.
Secret agent James Bond is pressed out
of retirement when industrial agents re-
quest help in smashing "SMERSH." Stars
David Niven, Ursula Andress, Peter Sel-
lers, Deborah Kerr, Orson Wells and
Charles Boyer.
SATURDAY: CARTER'S ARMY—The year is
1944 and the place—Germany. A company
of black soldiers, commanded by a white
southern officer, must capture a strate-
gic bridge. Stars Stephen Boyd, Robert
Hooks, Susan Oliver, Rosie Grier, Rich-
ard Pryor and Billy Dee Williams.
SUNDAY: THE CHALLENGE—To avoid a war
between American forces and a small com-
munist country, a lone soldier is pitted
against one member of the communist

SUNDAY: THE COURT MARTIAL OF GENERAL
YAMASHITA—A dramatized court martial of
a commander in the Philippine Forces
during World War II, the general is ac-
cused of atrocities against war prison-
ers and unarmed civilians. Stars

Craig Shreeve and Yuki Shimoda.
MONDAY: DESPERATE MOMENT—In war-ravaged^
Berlin, a displaced person is arrested
for murdering a soldier, but he manages
to escape from prison to search for the
real killer. Stars Dirk Bogarde, Theo-
dore Bikel, Mai Zetterling and Albert
Lieven.
WEDNESDAY: THE DEVIL'S CHOICE—An es-
caped prisoner attempts to flee the
country but a web of deceit, blackmail,
murder and drug smuggling make his chan-
ces all but impossible. Stars Belinda
Lee and Ivan Desny.
FRIDAY: KING SOLOMON'S MINES—This ad-
venture tale takes place in Africa just
before the turn of the century. A woman
engages a safari to find her husband who
set out to find the legendary King Solo-
mon's mines. Stars Stuart Granger,
Deborah Kerr and Richard Carlson.
FRIDAY: A LOTUS FOR MISS QUON—An Amer-
ican teacher finds a cache of diamonds
in a Far East city, and ends up in dan-
ger of losing his life. He is saved by
a woman who risks her family and her own
life to save him. Stars Lang Jeffries
and Fraacisca Tu.
FRIDAY: MACABRE—Greed, murder and
drunkenness add to the weird happenings
when the daughter of a small town physi-
cian mysteriously disappears. Stars
William Prince, Jim Backus, Christine
Whit and Jacqueline Scott.
