June 10, 1977 Page 3 Bowling Alley progress NATO Base keglers will soon be able to sharpen their skills in the newly- remodeled bowling lanes, according to reports from the Naval Station Recrea- tion Department. The Bowling Alley was originally scheduled to reopen on June 15 but, be- cause of the current ban on overtime involving the Icelandic contract employ- ees, progress is about 15-20 days be- hind. The station bowling alley was closed March 28 so that six new lanes could be added and the other lanes could be re- furbished. The photographs on pages one and three depict the work progress for the estimated one and one-half mil- lion dollar project. Recreation is predicting they will have grand opening on July 4. However an exact date will not be determined until June 20. The results of this meeting will be announced over the radio and will be reported in the June 24 edition of the "White Falcon". Pack 364 awards Scouts; promotes Webloes In May, Pack 364 had its monthly meeting, and several Scouts received awards, advancing from Webloes to Boy Scouts. Webloes is the highest order of the Cub Scouts. Kenneth Swaseyj Mathew Jones, Robert E. Witmer Jr., Ronald A. Bull and David A. Gains received the highest Cub Scout honor, "Arrow of Light." Navy enlisteds to be advanced An advancement ceremony will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Top of the Rock Enlisted Club. Captain Jack T. Weir, Commander Naval Forces Iceland/Commanding Officer, U. S. Naval Station will present the new crows. The results from the February Navy- wide exam indicated that of the 222 Naval Station persons who took the exam, 170 passed their tests and 120 of those will be advanced on June 16. The following is a listing of those persons to be advanced during the ceremony on Thursday.
