Chess Club. He will play simultaneous games at 2 p.m. Sunday. So far he

Wednesday, the USO will sponsor its mid-week Glymur Falls hiking trip.

The Red Wall Snack Bar will offer American hot dogs and apples Monday.

For all you pinochle players, the USO is introducing a pinochle tourna-
ment Thursday at 7 p.m. If interested, come to use your skills.
USO is looking for a sewing lady to replace the dedicated ex-seamstress
Charlene. If you wish to help servicemen by sewing on stripes and doing
minor repairs (USO supplies all necessary notions and machine), call 6113
to perform this much needed service.
Sign ups begin tomorrow for the USO premier fishing trip. USO will take
a group of people for a day of trout fishing on a lake near Whale Bay;
everything necessary will be provided. Just bring yourself and a lot of
luck for a day which promises to be relaxing and hope for a plentiful
catch.
If you enjoy silent movies, come to USO July 8 at 7 p.m. USO is
desperately seeking a piano player to accompany the movie. If you have
such an inkling, call the USO at 6113.

MacLaine portrays seven characters in
this comic examination of the modern
female in Paris—a woman's town par
excellence.
TODAY: PHANTOM OF THE OPERA—This
1925 classic thriller stars Lon Chaney
as a vengeful composer who lives in the
catacombs of the Paris Opera House, and
terrorizes the stage crew and the per-
formers.
SATURDAY: EIGHT IRON MEN—A squad of
American soldiers fighting during WWII
is pinned down by the enemy for 17 days
under heavy bombardment and machinegun
fire. Under this agonizing pressure,
the men reveal some hidden strengths
and weaknesses. Stars: Lee Marvin,
Arthur Franz and Richard Kiley.
SATURDAY: REVOLT OF THE BARBARIANS—
This Italian spectacular deals with a
Roman Consul assigned to investigate
periodic gold shipment raids. Stars:

SUNDAY: McMILLAN AND WIFE—A Macabre
halloween tale about a group of satan-
ists who are taking a sinister interest
in Sally McMillan. Stars: Rock Hudson

SUNDAY: WEEKEND OF TERROR—Two young
kidnappers' plan to get rich is tempo-
rarily foiled when their female hostage
is accidentally killed. One accuses the
other of being on drugs, but forging
ahead with their plan, they decide to
search for a woman who closely resembles
the hostage who met her death so incon-
veniently. Stars: Robert Conrad, Lee
Majors, Carol Lynley, Jane Wyatt and

MONDAY: EVEL KNEVEL—A legend comes to
life in this true adventure story of the
"King Of the Stuntman." The famed motor-
cycle daredevil puts his life on the
line and amasses a fortune. Stars:

TUESDAY: SIMON BOLIVAR—This is an
exciting historical drama, describing
victory achieved by General Simon Bolivar
in leading a revolutionary movement for
freedom of his people. Note: Some
words, phrases and scenes may be of-
fensive to a segment of the viewing

WEDNESDAY: HEART OF THE MATTER—The
setting is Sierra Leone, West Africa,
where a British colonial commissioner
falls in love with a pretty survivor
from a sinking German U-Boat. In order
to compensate for his meager income,the
commissioner accepts bribes from a local
diamond smuggling ring. Stars: Trevor
Howard, Peter Finch and Maria Schell.
THURSDAY: THE YOUNG DOCTORS—Two gener-
ations of doctors with two differing
schools of thought clash over conflict-
ing opinions. However, they grow to
respect one another. Stars: Frederic
March, Ben Gazzara, Ina Bolin, Eddie
Albert and Dick Clark.
FRIDAY: SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON—Custer
is dead, and after the massacre at Little
Big Horn, 10,000 Indians with Sitting
Bull and Crazy Horse unite in a common
war against the United States Cavalry.
Stars: John Wayne, Joanne Dru, John Agar,
Ben Johnson, Mildred Natwick and George
O'Brien.

Thursday—Lunch: French onion soup,
roast beef au jus with natural gravy,
baked potatoes with sour cream, lyon-
naise wax beans and stewed tomatoes.
Dinner: tomato vegetable soup, New-
port fried chicken, brown chicken gravy,
orange rice or combread dressing and
buttered succotash.
Friday—Lunch: vegetable beef soup,
fried Icelandic fish, oriental meat-
balls, baked macaroni and cheese, sea-
soned whole grain corn and steamed spin-

Dinner: knickerbocker soup, knock-
