one hour episode. Florida is concerned
because Thelma's involvement with a
handsome African student has gone beyond
the cultural-exchange level. Mother
and daughter clash on Thelma's plan to
live with her African boyfriend. Just
when Thelma thinks she's got it made,
her Romeo throws another curve at her.
SATURDAY, 6:45 p.m.—GLEN CAMPBELL SPE-
CIAL—Campbell performs his greatest
hits at London's famous "Talk Of The
Town". He Performs "Galveston", "Sweet
Dreams Baby" and "By The Time I Get To
Phoenix". The Pans People Dance Team
entertains.
SUNDAY, 6:45 p.m.—THE LAND—Land policy
was put together piecemeal, almost hap-
hazardly over the last 200 years. Yet,

program of argicultural development any-
where in the world. Because America has
no comprehensive long range policy, how
shall we best use our remaining land and
water, as we rush toward a future which
will demand both more food and more
energy?
MONDAY, 7 p.m.—SWITCH—The syndicate
gives Pete and Malcolm 24 hours to come
up with one million dollars ot the under-
world's money they are suspected of
having stolen.
TUESDAY 8:30 p.m.—M*A*S*H—Edward Binns
guest stars as a general who wants a
personal physician and Hawkeye seems to
be his choice. However, Hawkeye has
ideas of his own, and feels wounded men
must come before the whims of a general.
WEDNESDAY, 8:40 p.m.—JEFFERSONS— Ir-
spired by the way marriage counseling
has improved the Willises' relationship,
Louise finagles a hard-headed George.

THURSDAY, 7:50 p.m.—STAR TREK—The USS
Enterprise captained by James Kirk is
pulled back into the past and confronted
by an air force jet piloted by captain
James Christopher, who is ordered to in-
tercept the UFO.
FRIDAY, 9:10 p.m.—KOJAK—A young gypsy
fortune teller ties in with a gang of
bank robbers when she realizes her tal-
ents are much more valuable to big time
operators. In fact, the plans she makes
for a series of bank robberies are, by
Kojak's own admission, sheer genius.

Channel 4 movies of the week
Hear ye! Hear ye! USO snackbar is open every Friday and Saturday
night, serving fish, macaroni salad and baked beans. Don’t miss this
fun, delicious experience.
It's all happening at USO tomorrow at 1 p.m. This happening marks
the start of the ping pong tournament, and 2 p.m. will be the opening
time for the chess tournament. Both events offer fun for the specta-
tor as well as the participant. Tomorrow is also Taco Day at USO.
You can still sign up for the Krusivik-Og-Kleifarvatn tour, leaving
USO at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Come in a bit earlier and sample Sunday
morning waffles.
The all-day shopping trip Tuesday still has some vacancies. The
tour will leave USO at 9 a.m. USO will spend the morning, shopping in
downtown Reykjavik and the afternoon bargain-hunting at the factory
outlet stores.

TODAY: GONE ARE THE DAYS—This hilari-
ous satire on plantation life presents a
fiery evangelistic preacher whose ulti-
mate goal in life is to further the
cause of his black brethem and estab-
lish a church of the new freedom. Stars
Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Godfrey Cambridge
and Alan Alda.
SATURDAY: THE GREEN MAN—In this Brit-
ish comedy-murder caper, a professional
assassin schemes to knock off an obnox-
ious, public official. Stars Alastair
Sim, Terry Thomas and Jill Adams.
SATURDAY: THE NIGHT STALKER—A Las Vegas
newspaperman investigates a series of
bizarre murders in which the victims are
young women night workers. Baffled by
the strange slayings, the local police
call upon interpol for help. It seems
that during the German Blitz of England,
similar Murders had been committed.
Stars: Darren McGavin, Carol Lynley,
Claude Akins, Ralph Meeker and Simon
Oakland.
SUNDAY: THE SWEET AND THE BITTER—A
beautiful Japanese girl contracts to
marry a fisherman so she can travel to
Vancouver, Canada and seek out the
wealthy businessman she believes to be
responsible for her father's death.
Stars: Yoko Tani, Paul Richards and
Torin Thatcher.
MONDAY: THE GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCH—A
free-lance adventurer is hired by the
syndicate and the CIA to find the killer
of an assassinated crime boss. During
his search it is discovered that Com-
munists are infiltrating and taking over
the svndicate operations. Stars: John
Wayne, Sophia Loren and Rossano Brazzi.
TUESDAY: LEGEND OF THE LOST—An ex-
citing, suspenseful drama in which two
men and a woman set out across the vast
wastes of the Sahara Desert in search of
a lost city and treasure. When it ap-
pears their trek is in vain, they arrive
at their destination, but find success
brings tragedy. Stars: John Wayne,
Sophia Loren and Rossano Brazzi.
WEDNESDAY: CALL TO DANGER—An organized
crime figure, turning states evidence
against the syndicate boss, is kidnapped
despite tight security. Fearing their
star witness will be executed along with
other undercover contacts, police au-
thorities form a special task force to
save his life. Stars: Peter Graves,
Diana Muldaur, Clu Gulager, and Tina
Louise.
