When an important Russian defector is
offered "for sale", a recently dis-
missed CIA agent finds himself caught
in a web of espionage, kidnapping and

TODAY 12 a.m.—THE WINSLOW BOY—Based
on Terrence Rattigan's play, this film
is set in London in 1912. A retired
man, indignant over his son's expulsion
from a naval school, carries on a suit
against the British admiralty for de-
faming his son. Stars Robert Donat,
Sir Cedric Hardwicke and Francis L.
Sullivan.
SATURDAY 11:05 p.m.—WINTER KILL—A
series of bizarre murders connects with
an unwed young girl who considers
abortion and moves a small communitv
toward panic as police search for the
mysterious murderer before he strikes
again. Stars Andy Griffith, Sheree
North, John1 Calvin and Tim O'Connor.
SATURDAY 12:40 a.m.—BIG ROSE—Shelley
Winters stars as the owner of a detec-
tive agency. She and her colleague are
hired to expose a team of con artists
who have been blackmailing a wealthy

MONDAY 11:45 p.m.—AN EYE FOR AN EYE—
After hanging up his guns for good, an
ex-bounty hunter returns, finding his
wife and son murdered by a gang of out-
laws settling an old score. Stars

WEDNESDAY 11:05 p.m. —OKLAHOMA—The
award winning musical hit is the story
of a cowboy and his girl on the plains

THURSDAY 11:05 p.m.—NICE GIRL LIKE ME—

Center
news
The Youth Center will sponsor a dance
Thursday from 8 p.m. until midnight.
There will be a $2 admission charge.
All seventh through twelfth graders are
welcome.
There will be a Christmas party at
the Youth Center Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. for
students in grades kindergarten through
fourth. Donations of baked goods for
this event would be greatly appreciated.
Call 7822 if you can help.
The Youth Center will open at 1 p.m.
each week day during the Christmas holi-
days. Closing times will be at 10 p.m.
Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. on
Fridays and Saturdays.
Today is kiddie bingo at the Youth
Center. Cards are 25 cents each or two
for 45 cents. Bingo will be played
from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Prizes will be
awarded.
The Youth Center will sponsor a
holiday party for all fifth and sixth
graders Dec. 29 from 7 to 10 p.m.
The first practice for Youth Center
basketball will held tomorrow at 1 p.m.
at the Lower School gym. All those
who have signed up or anyone interested
in joining may attend.
Preregistration may be made at the
Youth Center. The league is for ages
eight to 15. The fee is $4.

FRIDAY 7:50 p.m.—NEVADA SMITH—Based on
Harold Robbins' book The Carpetbaggers,
this western film concerns a munitions
manufacturer who must transport a val-
uable shipment of arms through Indian
and outlaw country to his customer. To
guard the shipment, he hires a gang of
gunslingers, one of whom is his old
friend, Nevada Smith. Stars Lome
Greene, Cliff Potts and Adam West.
FRIDAY 10:15 p.m.—MAN OF LEGEND—A
German soldier changes identities during
1918 with a man who was shot by the
French Foreign Legion. The German sol-
dier distinguishes himself as a
Legionnaire, but he cannot abide by the
atrocities against the Mohammads, and
so joins forces with them. Stars Peter
Strauss and Tina Aumont. Note: Some
scenes may be offensive to a segment of
the viewing audience.
FRIDAY 12 a.m.—VICIOUS CIRCLE—A London
doctor offers to do a favor for a friend.
He immediately becomes involved ina
murder, and is accused of being associ-
ated with an international crime ring.

JODAY 9:10 pv. m. —STARSKY AND HUTCH—
Starsky and Hutch use the services of a
psychic to help locate a kidnapped girl.
SATURDAY 6:45 p.m.—PERRY COMO'S CHRIST-
MAS IN AUSTRIA—Perry Como celebrates
the Yuletide holiday at locales in
Austria with the help of guest stars Sid
Caesar, Senta Berger and the Vienna Boys'
Choir.
SUNDAY 7:30 p.m.—INVISIBLE MAN—Series
starts and will run for 12 weeks. David
McCallum plays the title role of Daniel
Westin, a brilliant scientist who has
discovered a process which makes him in-
visible. Unfortunately, he hasn't dis-
covered the antidote, so he has to wear
an uncannily lifelike mask and gloves.
Only his wife Kate and his boss know his
secret. He works for a think tank that
takes on impossible missions for the
government.
MONDAY 10:15 p.m.—ALPHA CHRONICLES—
Series starts and will run for 10 weeks.
The first episode concerns "Big Foot—-
Man or Beast". Robert Morgan saw his
first footprint of Big Foot in 1957.
From that time on he has been obsessed
with the idea of proving there is a
giant seven to nine feet tall, weighing
from 600 to 900 pounds, covered with
hair, and is a human-like creature.
Morgan and a crew of scientists travel
to northwest United States and Canada to
interview individuals who claim to have
seen Big Foot.
TUESDAY 7:45 p.m.—IN SEARCH OF—Scien-
tists explain many of the new techniques
being developed to plot movements in the
earth's surface of earthquake predica-
tions. Included in this episode is a
film of the Alaskan quake of 1964 which
jolted cities with a force equal to
thousands of atomic bombs.
WEDNESDAY 8:15 p.m.—JULIE ANDREWS
CHRISTMAS SPECIAL—The joyous season is
celebrated in music and words in this
variety special hosted by Julie Andrews.
Actor Peter Ustinov and singer Peggy Lee
share the stage with the versatile
Julie.
THURSDAY 7:45 p.m.—STAR TREK—An over-
whelming mating urge overcomes the
science officer from Vulcanas. Mr.
Spock runs amuck aboard the Enterprise-
and he must return to his home planet at
once. There he is forced into a duel to
the death with his friend, Captain
Kirk.
