ing that his son is in critical condition, Pr;
(George Peppard) breaks out of a Louisiana prison.
B. VOYAGE OF THE DAMNED—Drama (PG). A factual
incident is recreated in which German-Jewish refu-
gees were granted "safe passage" to Cuba in 1939.
They instead are denied entry and return to Europe
as victims of a cruel Nazi program plot.
C. RETURN TO BOGGY CREEK—Horror Drama (G). A
photographer is determined to get pictures of Big
Foot and searches for him in the Louisiana swamps.
Three children of the area set out to follow the
photographer and fall in Big Foot's clutches.
D. BOUND FOR GLORY—Drama (PG). A true story of
Woody Guthrie portrayed by David Carradine. The
depression of the 1930s forces the country singer
and composer to leave his family and trek to Cali-
fornia. He is shocked by the brutalization of the
farm worker labor camps and fights for their cause.
E. GET CHARLIE TULLY—Comedy (PG). Con man
Fraser puts money in a Swiss account but is killed
|by henchmen before he can tell his partner (Dick
Emery) the account numbers. Emery learns the num-
bers were tattooed on the rears of Fraser's girl
friends and sets out to somehow find them.
E. ACES HIGH—War drama (PG). Major Malcom
McDowell commands a Royal Flying Corps base in
1917 France. Replacement Peter Firth idolizes
McDowell but is received coldly by him because of
the pressures.
G. GODZILLA VS THE COSMIC—Science Fiction (G).
According to myth, King Seeser will appear to save
the people when they are in danger of total de-
struction. The city is then attacked by a cosmic
monster and Godzilla and King Seeser battle the
monster to destruction.
H. CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND—Science
Fiction (PG). After continued sightings of UFOs
around the world, power company employee (Richard
Dreyfuss) and housewife (Melinda Dillon) receive
telepathic visions of a mountain.
J* CITY FOR CONQUEST—Drama (PG) . A boxer sa-
crifices everything for his younger brother. In
one fight too many he loses his eyesight. Stars
James Cagney and Anthony Quinn.
K. THE CALL OF THE WILD—Adventure (G) . Buck is
stolen from his rightful owner and is plunged into
the savage life of a gold-rush sled dog in the
frozen Yukon. Here only the strongest and most
courageous animals can survive.
L. J.D.'s REVENGE—Drama (R). A young black law
student confronts with the supernatural. Unable
to control himself, he changes personalities and
is reincarnated. Stars Glynn Turmon.
M. FROM NOON TILL THREE—West err (PG) . Before
the robbery Bronson's dream forecasts death for
his gang. To avoid death he stays behind with
widow (Jill Ireland). They fall in love and hear
that the gang was caught and will hang.
N. RETURN OF THE WORLD'S GREATEST DETECTIVE—Drama
(PG). Bumbling police officer Sherman Holmes has
a slight run-in with a motorcycle. Receiving a
concussion, he believes he is the legendary detec-
tive Sherlock Holmes. Stars Larry Hagman.
0* SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER—Musical Drama (R). In
Brooklyn's Bay Ridge section, John Travolta con-
tends with a menial job in a paint store and con-
stant harassment from his parents. Only on Satur-
day nights at the disco does he become his own boss
and king. Stars John Travolta.
P« HIGH ANXIETY—Comedy (PG). Dr. Mel Brooks,
head of the Psychological Neurotic Institute for the
Very Nervous, triumphs over a conspiracy between the
head nurse and a resident psychiatrist.
R. SISTER STREETFIGHTER—Drama (R). Li Hunglung
goes to Tokyo in seaxch of her missing brother. A
narcotics agent with the Hong Kong police, he disap-
peared mysteriously three months ago.
T. STAR TREK PART III—Science fiction (G). No

U. PETE'S DRAGON—Comedy musical (G). Disney
magic is mixed with comedy, music and partial an-
imation. Helen Reddy and Elliot, the sometimes
invisible dragon, star in this fantasy.
V. FM—Comedy (PG). An easy-going radio station
manager makes QSKY the top station. The manager,
(Michael Brandon) under pressure, chooses to quit
rather than to ruin the station's image. But his
fans won't let him give up.

A lady's man about Paris during the French Revolution
nearly gets killed by jealous husbands. After an
attempt to assassinate Napolean, Scaramouche is sus-
pected and must deal with more trouble.
AA. THE TURNING POINT—Drama (PG). Behind the
scenes of a ballet, two women go through changes as
one retires to raise a family and the other goes on
to become a star. Stars Anne Bancroft and Shirley
Maclaine.
BB. RANSOM FOR ALICE—Western (PG). Deputy Mar-
shal Clint Kirby and Jenny Cullen are sent to look
for the granddaughter of an old friend. They en-
counter several bandits before solving the mystery
of the young girl's disappearance.
