Hofn NEX expanded
"It's here! It's finally done!
Super, just super!" These were-
some of the comments as the Hofn
Navy Exchange Annex opened its
doors at the Oct. 16 grand re-
opening.
Within one week, the entire
store was remodeled, expanded,
increasing its merchandise by one-
third.
A hobby supply section was
opened also for indoor winter ac-
tivities.
On this day, the Annex took in
more than $3,900 in cash sales.
NEX Annex Of fleer-: In-Charge said,
"This has been a long time coming.
We worked hard for this expansion,
and the Navy Exchange at Keflavik
supported us 100 per cent. Being
located some 240 miles from Kefla-
vik, the people at Hofn needed
more than the basic necessities,
and it's now being provided."
