Racquetball tourney in swing
The 1978 winter racquetball com-
petition starts tomorrow, 8 a.m.
at the base gym.
The competition will start out
with two men’s and women’s tourna-
ments to decide a racquetball lad-
der for the players. Each player
competes on an individual basis
and is rated on his or her ladder
according to one's performance in
the tournament. This way players
can challenge other players two
notches ahead of them on the lad-
der in order to try to better
their standings and game.
A turn out of 50 men will be
competing against each other and
16 women will play for top notches
in their ladder also.
The tournament should be final
for both men and women, Monday.
