AFI defeats VP-23
Reservations may be made for use
of *5 of the basketball court for
team practices. The hours avail-
able are 9 to 11 p.m. on Wednesday
and Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 7 to
9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Each team will be allowed 1 prac-
tice a week. Reservations must be
made in person.
The gym will be closed next Fri-
day for pest control.

50-46 for holiday
basketball crown
AFI won the Christmas Basketball
Tournament 50-46 defeating the VP-23
Seahawks in the playoffs after VP-23
won the first game 52-41.
The Seahawks reached the finals
by defeating AWACSS 68-30, the 57th
41-30 followed by Air Ops 54-36, and
the 57th again 55-54.
AFI towered over N3GA 51-38, IDF/
CFK 58-41, and VP-23 60-57 before
reaching the playoff games.
The regular basketball season re-
sumes with the 57th leading the A
League, VP-23 Z team leading the B
League, and NSGA ahead for the C
League; all holding two wins and no
losses.
