Navy, Army, Air Force catalogs to merge
The Navy Exchange and Army—Air
Force Exchange Service Mail Order
catalogs will merge this summer.
And'the 1980-81 catalog will have a
new name. It will be the "Military
Exchange Services Catalog," and this
catalog will be available in July
1980.
Because Navy Exchange Mail Order
will cease operation as of July 1,
1980, many items are being phased
out now. If your mail order is re-
turned because the item that you
ordered has been discontinued, the
same or a similar item can be re-
ordered by using the 1979-80 Army—
Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES)
Catalog. Although many items are
currently being phased out, all i-
tems of Japanese origin, such as
audio components, cameras, china and
giftware will continue to be avail-
able until July 1980.
All orders received after July 1,
1980 will automatically be returned
to customers with instructions to
order from the new 1980-81 "Military
Exchange Catalog."
Because of the pending merger,
mail order layaway sales have not
been accepted since Feb. 1.
In addition, there are some price
increases for brand name crystal
and figurines. For more information
call 7073.
