title

WOMEN'S BOWLING TOURNAMENT—Up and
Coming captured the team event in
last weekend's annual tournament
played at the Arctic Bowling Lanes.
Team members were (from left in top
picture) Linda Patrizi, Paula Grang-
er, Judy Dempsey and Marge Engler.
They outdistanced their opposition
with a 2,211 pinfall for three
games. Patrizi also won the singles
event with a 605 series while Millie
Fahland was the best overall. She
won the all-events crown with a
1,732 total for the nine games.
Winning the doubles title was Diane
Gulick and Judy Montgomery (not pic-
tured) with a 1,147 total; three
pins better than Fahland and Demp-
sey. The tournament was sponsored by
the Keflavik Women's Bowling Associ-
ation.
