There will be an Intramural Bowl-
ing Roll-Off to select the team to
represent USNAVSTAKEF in the North-
ern European Regional Tournament.
The Roll-Off will take place April
7, 8 and 10. Interested bowlers
must sign up by April 4. Women call
Debbie at 4588. Men sign up at the
bowling alley with an association
officer. Military have priority.

Bowling times for the no tap will
be tomorrow from 4-10 p.m. and Sun-
day from 1-7 p.m. Scotch doubles
will follow from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Arctic Lanes.

Bob Shaffer has made it five in a
row in the King of the Hill competi-
tion. Shaffer downed Mike Luce in
the final match to keep his title.

^^^ing and Queen of the Hill compe-
tition begins at noon at the Arctic
Lanes each Sunday.
Registration begins Monday for
Beginning Swimming for children ages
6 and up. Call 4588 for informa-
tion. Class will be Saturdays from
3:15 until 4:45 p.m.

The Russian Olympic basketball
team is in Iceland until Wednesday
playing against the Icelandic Na-
tional team. Monday, the team will
play against the American coaches of
Icelandic teams. Anyone desiring
tickets to games, contact Debbie at
the base gym today at 4588.

The NATO Base Men's basketball
team took first place this month in
the Northern European Regional Tour-
nament. Congratulations all!
This past week in London, the
team of All-Stars chosen from the
Intramural Basketball league became
the Regional Champions. In their
last three games they defeated Ed-
zell, Scotland 106-75, the USS Hol-
land, Scotland 85-70, and Edzell 89-
62. Second place went to Edzell,
and third place to the USS Holland.
Other teams participating were
from Holy Loch and Thurso, Scotland;
Brawdy, Wales; St. Mawgin and Lon-
don, England.
Congratulations to the team mem-
bers and their coach, Capt. Joseph-
ius Melton of 932nd Rockville. Team
members are: Harry Christian of
AWACSS, Richard Bozman of the 57th,
James Acree of AFI, Jack Klemm and
Mark Terry also from AFI, Steve Hen-
drickson and Dale Lane of the 932nd
Rockville, and Leon Parker from the
VP-23 Seahawks. They'll be playing
a game on March 29 at 2 p.m. against
the Icelandic National Team in the
Ambassador's Cup Tournament.
In February the Women's team from
Keflavik won the Northern Regional
Championship by defeating teams from
London and Edzell, Scotland.
