Bus tour slated
The Tour Office is offering a bus
tour to Whale Bay, Borgarfjordur,
and Thingvellir. This tour will be
on June 7, Saturday, and will depart
at 9 a.m. from Viking Mall. The bus
will return at 7:30 p.ra.
This tour will stop at Whale Bay
where cutting and fleshing a whale
is observed; if a whale has been
caught and which is most likely.
After a brief stop at a nearby res-
taurant, the bus will drive on a
mountain road through Svinadalur and
Skorradalur valleys to the Borgarf-
jodur District.
You will see Hvita which is the
largest river in Borgarfjodur and
several other salmon fishing rivers
nearby. Then the tour proceeds
through Lundarreykjadalur valley and
into the highlands through Uxahryg-
gir. You will go across to Thing-
vellir where Iceland's parliament
met from 930 A.D. to 1800.

Registration for the Webster Col-
lege Master of Arts program in Man-
agement and Human Relations for Fall
