George Segal and Jacqueline Bisset are a divorced couple trying to reconcile in the midst of a series of bizarre murders. This sequel to Star Wars reunites Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and Darth Vader in an action-packed movie filled with bizarre creatures and fascinating machinery. James and Stacy Keach, and David, Keith and Robert Carradine star in this movie about the exploits of the legendary outlaw gangs led by the Jameses and the Youngers during the post-Civil War era. (100 min.) G. THE SEA GYPSIES—Adventure drama (G). Widower Robert Logan and his two daughters plan to sail around the world. Mikki Jamison Olsen, a photo-journalist covers the trip, but Logan really doesn't want her along. (108 min.) H. HEROWORK—Comedy drama (PG). When Frank Pellett loses his job as an ambulance driver, he resorts to impersonating a police officer in an unmarked car and in the tradition of Robin Hood, gives what he takes from robbers to the poor after taking his 10%. John Travolta stars as a young Texan who works in an oil refinery by day and unwinds at Gilley's, a combination bar, dance hall and game parlor, at night. Also stars Debra Winger and features music by Charlie Daniels, Mickey Gilley and Bonnie Raitt. (135 min.) J. A SMALL CIRCLE OF FRIENDS—Drama (R). Karen Allen^ Jameson Parker and Brad Davis are students at Harvard Uni- versity involved in a love triangle during the Vietnam War. (112 min.) K. JESUS—Religious docu-drama (G). This account of the life of Jesus according to St. Luke was filmed entirely in the Holy Land utilizing actual settings where the events occurred. (116 min.) L. DARBY O'GILL & THE LITTLE PEOPLE—Fantasy (G). A fan- ciful story of love and Leprechauns set in Southern Ireland at the turn of the century. Stars Albert Sharpe, Janet Munro, Sean Connery and Jimmy O'Dea. (97 min.) M. METAMORPHOSES—Drama (PG). Mick Jagger and Joan Ba£ star in this movie based on the fifteen books about tH "Metamorphoses of Ovid," the mythological tales throu^ which ancient man interpreted himself. They tell of the world's beginning to our own days. (88 min.) N. ORCA—Action drama (PG). Richard Harris, hoping to capture a live killer whale for a $250,000 bounty, inadver- tently kills a female whale and becomes the object of at- tack by its mate. Also stars Charlotte Rampling. (93 min.) O. WHISKEY MOUNTAIN—Drama (PG). The lure of buried trea- sure in the form of a cache of valuable confederate rifles attracks two motor-cross racers and their wives to legendary Whiskey Mountain, but the light-hearted vacation soon turns into a nightmare of terror. Stars Christopher George and Preston Pierce. (91 min.) P. UNIDENTIFIED FLYING ODDBALL—Comedy (G). The project for a new spacecraft cannot go on unless Dennis Dugan can create a robot to pilot the ship. Also stars Jim Dale. (93 min.) R. THE GODSEND—Horror drama (R). An English family be- friends a woman in late pregnancy. When she gives birth and disappears, strange things begin happening to the foster family. Stars Malcolm Stoddard and Cyd Hayman. (86 min.) S. ROUGH CUT—Romantic comedy (PG). Burt Reynolds is a cunning jewel thief who meets Lesley-Anne Down at a gala outside London. Also a jewel thief, she has agreed to help Scotland Yard's Chief Inspector, David Niven, capture Burt. (112 min.) T. THE FINAL COUNTDOWN—Drama (PG). A mysterious storm transports the USS Nimitz and its crew from the contempor- ary world to December 6, 1941, between the Japanese fleet and Pearl Harbor. Stars Kirk Douglas, Martin Sheen and Katherine Ross.
