WEEKLY NOV. 28 -DEC. 5 ENTERTAINMENT SUPPLEMENT ENLISTED DINING CLUB SPECIALS SYMPHONY TODAY LUNCH: Corn chowder, fried or baked Icelandic fish, macaroni and cheese, scalloped potatoes and French-fried greens. DINNER: Creole soup, chicken-fried beef steaks, knockwurst, brown gravy, potatoes, succotash and asparagus. SATURDAY BREAKFAST: Assorted fruit, assorted fruit juice, eggs to order, omelets, fried bacon, grilled sausage, grilled ham, hash browns, griddle cakes and hominy grits. BRUNCH: In addition to breakfast items: Reuben sandwiches and potato chips. DINNER: Minestrone soup, barbecued beef cubes, braised spareribs, sauerkraut, egg noodles, fried hominy and green beans. SUNDAY BREAKFAST: Assorted fruit, assorted fruit juice, eggs to order, omelets, fried bacon, grilled sausage, corned beef hash, hash browns, French toast and oatmeal. BRUNCH: In addition to breakfast items: Chili burgers and French fries. lINNER: Vegetable soup, Swiss steaks with omato sauce, Southern-fried chicken, mashed potatoes, spinach and mixed vegetables. MONDAY LUNCH: Manhattan clam chowder, veal loaf, brown gravy, barbecue spareribs, egg noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, squash and corn bread. DINNER: Chicken noodle soup, sauerbraten, natural gravy, German potato cakes, German sauerkraut, peas and carrots. TUESDAY LUNCH: Vegetable soup, chippered or fried Icelandic fish, scalloped potatoes with onions, broccoli spears and corn. DINNER: Cheese soup, glazed ham loaf, beef porcupines, vegetable gravy, mashed potatoes, carrots and black-eyed peas. WEDNESDAY LUNCH: Creole soup, Newport-fried chicken, chicken gravy, barbecue pork, rice, beets, black-eyed peas and corn bread. DINNER: Beef barley soup, pepper beef steaks, natural sauce, turkey gravytoes, potatoes, hominy, Brussel sprouts and open-faced turkey sandwiches. THURSDAY LUNCH: Cheese soup, breaded pork cutlets, potatoes, baked chicken, brown pork gravy, chicken gravy, cauliflower and Southern- style greens. DINNER: Knickerbocker soup, Texas chili, .heese enchiladas, tamale pie, beef liver .th onions, rice, refried beans and corn. TOP OF THE ROCK: The Top of the Rock is temporarily located at the Glacier Hut. All the activities of the regular club are being held and the club is in full swing. Friday—AFI Hail and Bless. MATADORS The Matadors, a lively variety USO Show will be performing aboard the NATO Base December 10 to 14. Not only do they play some crazy country and fabulous 50's music, but they spice it up with humor, impressions, and a salute to some of the superstars of show business. Mini-Mart closes at 5 p.m. Christmas season December 4 - Main Store closes at 5 p.m. Stag Night from 6 to 8 p.m. December 11 - Main Store closes at 5 p.m. Doe Night from 6 to 8 p.m. December 13 - Kid's Day at Main Store from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Adults allowed in store from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. December 18 - Main Store closes at 5 p.m. Family Night from 6 to 8 p.m. December 24 - Main Store and Laundry close at noon due to an Icelandic holiday. Mini-Mart closes at 6 p.m. Viking Cafeteria closes at 8 p.m. Christinas Day - All facilities closed. December 26 - Main Store and Laundry closed due to an Icelandic holiday. New Year's December 31 - Main Store and Laundry close at noon due to an Icelandic holiday. Mini-Mart and Viking Cafeteria close at 8 p.m. New Year's Day - Mini-Mart open. All other facilities closed. The seventh performance of the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra will be held December 11. The conductor will be Pall P. Palsson and the solo- ists Diane Johnson and Michael Smartt. The program will include selections from American musicals. Tickets will be available at the Tour Office beginning Monday and until noon December 5. Bua transportation will also be provided for those interested and seats will have to be booked at the same time tickets for the symphony are pur- chased. USO November 27—Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwiches at the USO with all the "trimmings". TODAY—USO's World Famous Fish Fry, 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. or when ever the fish runs out, SATURDAY—Taco Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fish Fry 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. SUNDAY—Waffles from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. YOUTH CENTER Sunday—Grade seven through age 19 - Come and enjoy. Monday—Ladies slimnastics 9 to 10 a.m. Evening slimnastics 6 to 7 p.m. Arts and Crafts Day and fifh and sixth grade Challenge the Champ Day. Tuesday—Fifth and sixth grade Pillow Polo in the gym. Teen pinball tournament. Also a variety of floor games are on the agenda for six years old through grade four Wednesday—Fifth and Sixth graders can create a Christmas candle. Lots of games for all. Six years old through grade four - Crayola hour. Thursday—Ladies slimnastics meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Bread dough class. Fifth and sixth Crab Ball. Friday—Christmas Craft Workshop. Free movie for ages six through 19 at 3:15 p.m. Teen Disco from 7 to 11 p.m. Organized games for ages six through grade four. Saturday—Entertain yourself at the Youth Center. It will he open from 1 to 11 p.m. Parents are invited to come and join with their children at the Youth Center or just come hv and visit the facility to see what they have to offer. For more information concerning the many activities offered at the Youth Center call 750B or 7R?2. FIL-AM A Hail & Bless and a belated Thanksgiving dinner will be sponsored by the FTL-AM Association Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Community Center. All members and their families are cordially invited.
