American League
Bob Plante broke the magic BOO
barrier this week in the American
league of Intramural bowling. He
paced the Weather team to a 2-2
split with NavFac, connecting for a
235 game and an outstanding 617
series. Phil Blauvelt's 511 was the
high for the Facility.
In other American league action
on Monday night, league leading
Rockville continued its domination
and handed the 960th AWACSS a 3-1
setback. Ron McCray lead the Rock-
ville attack with a 536 series.
Bill Jasper, 501, Jim Zonder, 500,
and Phil Charron, 203 and 572 bowled

In other action, Club Management,
in second place, shutout Medical;
third place ComFairKef, behind Don
Sheldon's 203, took three games froml
the 57th FIS 44 , despite a 539 from
Joe Floirendo and a 575 from Doug
Stacer; Navy Broadcasting won 3-1
against Security It2; Air Ops It 1 took
three from Security 41; and the Navy
Exchange snlit with Air Ops It2.
National League
The logjam for first place in
the National league uncluttered a
bit last week as Medical trounced
CFK for four games and moved into
sole possession of first place. Dan
Bushong lead the way with a 211 game
and a 541 series.
Meanwhile, the Navy Exchange and
Supply 42 dropped a notch into a tie
for second place as both teams
posted 3-1 victories. The Exchange,
behind Harry Taylor's 520, cruised
for their three games against the
Supnly Chiefs, while Supply posted
their win against Recreation. Comm-
Sta NRK 42 owns the rights to third
place, despite dropping three games
to the CFK Chiefs. Doug Larson had
a 212 for the Chiefs in that match.
In remaining National league
action, AFI handed IsCommlce a 4-0
setback; and the 57th FIS 45 took
three from their brother team, tl
57th PMEL. Richard Larson's 509
and Joe Castillo's 535 were tops
