SYMPHONY
The eighth performance of the
Icelandic Symphony Orchestra this
season will be held January 8. Tic-
kets will be on sale Monday through
noou Friday. The conductor will be
Pall Palsson with trumpet soloist,
Larus Sveinsson.
Bus transportation is available
and tickets must be purchased at the
same time as symphony tickets. The
Tour Office encourages people to book
tickets early since office hours at
the Tour Office will be limited
during the Christmas and New Year's
holidays. Tickets for the previous
two concerts were sold out. Other
concerts are also scheduled for
January 15 and 22. Contact the
Tour Office at 4420.
TOUR OFFICE
If you are planning a trip to
Rota, Spain, in January be sure to
stop in the Tour Office located in
the Viking Mall near the bowling
alley. There is information about
the base in Rota as well as surroun-
ding areas available which may be of
help in planning your trip.
A travel agency on the Rota base
is offering an overnight tour to
Tangiers on January 17 which will in-
clude transportation, hotel accommo-
dations, breakfast, dinner and sight-
seeing.
There is also a ski weekend
planned for January 23-25 in Granada.

LUNCH: Chicken noodle soup, fried
Icelandic fish, pork slices Mexi-
cans, rice, beets and com.
DINNER: Tomato vegetable soup,
Newport-fried chicken, gravy,
stuffed franks, rice, corn bread
dressing and green peas.
SATURDAY
BREAKFAST: Fruit, juice, fried eggs
to order, broiled bacon, grilled
sausage, grilled luncheon meat, hash
browns, hominy grits, and hot cakes.
BRUNCH: In addition to breakfast
items: Tomato rice soup, grilled
cheese sandwiches and French fries.
Baked lasagna, spaghetti,
broccoli and garlic bread.

'FAST: Fruit, juice, fried eggs
order: tomato and cheese omelets,
broiled bacon, broiled sausage links,
grilled ham slices, fried potatoes,
and French toast.
BRUNCH: In addition to breakfast
items: Logging soup, Coney Island
burgers, and potato chips.
DINNER: Creole soup, roast pork ham,
brown gravy, baked potatoes, sour
cream and mixed vegetables.
MONDAY
LUNCH: Doubly good soup, stuffed
green peppers, beef stew, egg
noodles, tossed green rice, peas,
carrots and biscuits.
DINNER: Minestrone soup, beef
Sukiyaki, tuna casserole, rice,
brussels sprouts, collard greens.
TUESDAY
LUNCH: Tomato soup, sliced Tom
turkey, brown gravy, potatoes,
green peas, dressing, broccoli,
beets, and bread.
DINNER: Cream of potato soup, fried
Icelandic fish, Mexican pork chops
topped with sauce, potatoes, pinto
beans, and mustard greens.
WEDNESDAY
LUNCH: Split pea soup, Southern
fried chicken, rice, potatoes,
beans, and Creole squash.
DINNER: Vegetable soup, New England
boiled dinner, corned beef, carrots,
potatoes, cabbage and onions.
THURSDAY
CHRISTMAS DINNER: Turkey noodle
soup, roast Tom turkey, baked
Virginia ham, bread dressing, snow-
flaked potatoes, candied yams,
glblet gravy, cranberry sauce,
pineapple sauce, southern green
beans, com O'Brien, salad, apple
pie, cherry pie, fruit cake,
assorted candies, mixed nuts, and
bread.

Today—Come in and enjoy the USO's
world famous Fish Fry from 9 p.m. to
3 a.m. or until the fish are gone.
Saturday—Nine rainbow shakes to
choose from and Tacos and Taco
burgers, all from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the
"Magnificent 7" waffles are
featured.
