: Dear Icelandic People,
It is with great pleasure that I have returned to your beloved country. During
i the nine years that have gone past since tny first visit here, my great love for
Iceland has in no way abated. On the contrary it has increased, for my con-
; viction of tlie highly honoured destiny of the Icelandic nation has been deep-
; ened by tlie fact that since 1 was last with you , events in Iceland have cotne
! to pass precisely according to plan — the Divine plan.
When I was here before the Second World War, I spoke to you of the
; developments that were to take place in Iceland according to the Divine plan,
; and doubtless many of you will have observed tliat, up to date, these have come
! to pass; others of course are yet in the future.
You will recall that I stated that the complete liberation of Iceland was
due in 1941, and you will have noticed that this^ was fulfilled right on time
j when Iceland decided to become an entirely independent state in May of that
\ year. I also said that in the same year, namely 1941, a new pliase in the spiritual
; enlightenment of Iceland would be initiated in this country, and that onward
\ from that year these matters would be much more u'idely proclaimed and better
! understood, which is so necessary in order that the nation may be prepared
j for her great future mission in accordance with the Divine purpose. This has
j also come true, right on time, and there is now published in Iceland a splendid
magazine proclaiming Iceland’s wonderful mission and destiny as revealed by
the Bible and the Great Pyramid.
I also spoke of the devastating war that was coming, but stated that Iceland
would be “the bright spot” and that the Icelanders would be protected and
j happy while the great nations on the Continent would be writhing in agony.
! And it was so, that during the war Iceland was prosperous and protected whilst
! the nations of Europe were suffering indescribable horrors.
So when this was fulfilled I made the following statement in one of my
! books written on the Great Pyramid in 1942 while the war was still raging:—
j “Certainly no country in Europe, if not in the whole world, has such cause for
j thanksgiving at the present time as Iceland. Today when practically all the
i i nations of the world, belligerents and neutrals as well, are suffering severely
