BA in art/painting from Iceland Academy of the
Arts (2001)

Mostly drawing. I also use video/stop motion
animation, sound, text and sculpture but in
reality everything starts with the drawing in one
way or another.
What projects are ahead for you?
Recently I finished the video/stop motion ani-
mation Diamonds which I exhibited at the Nor-
dic House in January but now I‘m busy with a
new series of drawings and sculptures. I‘m pre-
paring for upcoming shows, here and abroad.
I was invited to show my animation A Story of
Creation (2013) at the Rotterdam International
Film Festival this year and as a result I‘ve been
invited to show at various other film festivals.
