Foundation for traditional inuit summer conventions Aasivik is a traditional Inuit (eskimo) convention the goal go which is to secure exchange of within arts, social activities and traditional points of scien- ce, and cultural activities in their widest sence. Aasivik shall function so that individuals and groups of every observation can convene and express mutual will for de- velopment of our national and cultural values, and in particu- lar be a forum in which our aboriginal native rights be dis- cussed and express mutual consolidation through a social environments.
