2 WHITE FALCON Saturday, May 8, 1965 EDITORIAL • O We Rewftber. They are all gone into the world of light And / alone sit lingering here; Their very memory is fair and bright, And my sad thoughts doth clear. —Henry Vaughan The helicopter that bore away five of our com- rades on May Day 1965, never to return, is stilled. So, too, were stilled the hearts of many of us at the first news of the tragedy. They are all gone, five brave men. But in the words of the poet, their memory is fair and bright. They gave fully of themselves. To family, to us. ..to God and country. We remember. And when we remember in a special way they would have us remember, “sad thoughts doth clear.” We remember their labor and their dedication to worthwhile goals in life we pursued together. Now, more than ever, we must bend harder to the task. They would not have us forget our mission and that all effort must be directed at the common good of all. Because their spirit still pervades us, no one sits alone. :
