Strikes ’n Spares
by Paul Jordan
Strikes, spares and splits—that is just what Security of
the International League came up with this past week.
With VP-56 rolling by Admin 2 for three points and open-
ing the door, Security was lucky to salvage 2 points from
Comptroller 2 after 18 splits in one game and go into a
tie position for first place with the Admin 2 team.
NavCommSta 1 hung on to the'^
one point lead over Admin 1 in
ha American League. This one
can still change places. NavComm-
Sta still has the unpredicable
Navy Exchange Team, followed
by IDF to roll against. Public
Works 1 of the National League
can coast the rest of the first
half.
HERE I COME, READY OR NOT—And it seemed AMD wasn’t quite ready as they were ambushed by
Fleet Weather Facility 26 to 6. Wonder if it’s the dazzling footwork or the white walking shorts that
everyone here is eyeing.

Golf Tourney
%/
Several changes were made in the
rules for the upcoming AFI golf
tourney by a committee recently.
Probably the most important
change made concerned the loca-
tion of the tournament, which will
be conducted on the new Naval
Station Golf Course instead of
the Keflavik course as originally
planned.
The station course has nine
holes with a par 33 and is located
near Rockville. The course in
Keflavik has been the scene of
past AFI golf tournaments.
In a second important change,
'he dates for the tourney are May
28 and 29, a Friday and Saturday.
The number of holes to be
played over ,.the two-day event
has not yet been determined, al-
though medal and handicap divi-
sions are still planned.
Prior to May 25, each entrant
will be required to play two rounds
at the station course for qualifi-
-ation and handicap. From these
scores, entrants will be placed in
flights: the top scratch scorers
going into medal play with the
rest of the field going into handi-
