ADVANCEMENTS
Last Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. 48 men being advan-
ced in four paygrades heard Capt Emile E. Pierre, Jr.,
commanding officer of the Naval Station, outline the
responsibilities they are acquiring with their new rates.
Captain Pierre presented each man with his certificate
of advancement and offered his best wishes.
To be congratulated on their new rates are:
SUPER CHIEFS—Capt Emile E. Pierre, Jr., commanding officer of
the Naval Station, congratulates NavSta’s two new E-8 chiefs.
