Pierre, Jr., commanding officer of the Naval Station, outline the responsibilities they are acquiring with their new rates. Captain Pierre presented each man with his certificate of advancement and offered his best wishes. To be congratulated on their new rates are: SUPER CHIEFS—Capt Emile E. Pierre, Jr., commanding officer of the Naval Station, congratulates NavSta’s two new E-8 chiefs. E - 8 s Henderson, J. W„ AMCS Hogan, R. H„ YNCS ESPRIT DE CORPS—Capt Emile E. Pierre, Jr., commanding officer of the Naval Station, addresses the newly advanced petty officers at a ceremony last Tuesday. Captain Pierre cited some of the heroic actions of Navymen serving in GANG’S ALL HERE—The four major rating groups of General Ser- Southeast Asia as sure signs of vice, Construction, Aviation and Engineering are represented by these good citizens and sailors. four new first class petty officers.
