Empire forces in Grecce have síuccessfully oonclLuded their withdmwal and are »no\d ocdupying positions south of Lamia a hund,- red míles nonth west of Athens. British Losses are sia(id to be m'uch llghter than ex- pected, biut enemy losses are extremely heavy. !The only reports foom Albania oome fixun the ItaJCians who claim to hiave crossed the fronttier. The Greek line of idefence is every where tunbroken. It has been oonfirmed that further 6 enemy planes wiere destroyed in oombat on Sun- day, making the total 22. There have been wídespread German raids on Greek villages and towns. Yesterday two hospita’, ships were bombed and one sunk. The R. A. F. fighters and bombers in Greece are inoessantly in aotion. On Sunday night numerous enemy aerodromes in Northem Greece wiere raided. , * FREE FRENCH SUCCESS London, April 22nd. It was announced to-day that a Free French submarine had made a successful attack on a big enemy tanker off the Nor- wegian ooast. The tanker was hit by a torpedo and probably sunk, but this oould not be asoertained as the submarine had to take action to evade a aounter attaick by the tanker’s esoort. London, April 22nd. Speaking of the situation iin Libya to-day Mr. Ch'urohill told the Commons that he did not think that a statement wiould be appropriate at this time. He said that Imperial operations in Greeoe had been of most aomplioated nature and oonducted w'ifh the greatest skill.
