The Hugest Small Rock Fest in the World
In its fifth year, the annual Aldrei fór ég suður festival has never been bigger than last Easter weekend. Two days, 34 bands and all for free!

The festival this year is definitely a lot
bigger than last year. I take into account
the number of cars, and it’s certainly not
fewer than last year. I think we’re starting
to need larger venue.

Mugison’s set was crazy. I think the West-
fjord pride really came to life when he
stepped on stage. Even though he’s our
adopted son, we still feel like we own
him.

This is my first time at the festival but
I’ve wanted to come every year since it
started. I really enjoyed Sudden Weather
Change, they reminded me of being 15.
