Ein Deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms:
The Hallgrímskirkja Motet Choir, one of Iceland’s
best choirs with members from the The Iceland
Symphony Orchestra and Ísafold.
Soloists: Birgitte Christensen, one of Norway’s
best known young sopranos, and Andreas
Schmidt, world famous German baritone.
Conductor: Hörður Áskelsson.
The Four Beasts´ Amen:
Hans Ola Ericsson, a world famous Swedish
organist performs his own work for organ and
electronics.
From Chains to Freedom; African-American
spirituals- improvisation: The famous and beloved
Icelandic jazz musicians Gunnar Gunnarsson
organ, Sigurður Flosason saxophone and Þórir
Baldursson hammond thrill the audience with
their marvellous playing in a concert with the
Hallgrimschurch Klais organ, hammond and
saxophone!
