Reykjanesbcer celebrates "Night of Lights " Ljosanott celebrates the Icelandic culture by bringing people together to see the cultural influences and experiences they live with every day. (Middle right) Street vendors peddle their wares while residents of the surrounding communities enjoy the carnival-like atmosphere. Cotton candy, whistles, food items and cultural souvenirs were all available for sale. (Bottom right) Performance artists demonstrate their talent to onlookers during the festivities. Troubadours, bands, artists and crafters displayed their skills throughout the four-day festival. (Bottom Left) Children enjoy a ride in the tea- cups. Rides such as the teacups, go-carts, bungee jumping and inflatable obstacle courses were scat- tered throughout downtown Keflavik for festival goers to enjoy. (Below) Children play around the anchor memo- rial in downtown Keflavik. The festival allowed people to wander through the downtown areas and enjoy their surroundings.
