Northern Challenge is an exercise that provides
North Atlantic Treaty Organization Explosive
Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Improvised
Explosive Device Disposal personnel with an
evaluated practical training scenario.
The scenario tests the teams in their ability to
respond to situations that might arise in a real
world situation.
Twenty-six NATO EOD technicians from
seven different agencies participated in Northern
Challenge 2004.
