SOUTH SHORE TOUR 8AM
SATURDAY, MARCH 19
Explore the south coast of Iceland where
fertile farmlands have a background of one
of the world’s best known volcanos and
beautiful fresh waterfalls. This tour will take
participants through the towns of Selfoss,
Hella and Jvolsvollur en route to visiting
the unique and beautiful waterfalls of Selja-
landsfoss and Skogafoss, one of the high-
est in Iceland. Legend has it that a chest
of gold is hidden under Skogafoss. Price
$111/adult, $56/child (4-11), infants free.
WESTMAN IS. DAY TOUR 8AM
SATURDAY, MARCH 19
The tour takes participants directly to the
airport at Bakki about 3 hours drive from the
base. From Bakki it is only a 6 minute shuttle
flight to the Westman Islands where a local
guide picks the tour up for a 2 hour sightsee-
ing tour of the beautiful and historic island
of Heymaey. After the bus tour participants
have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the
town’s restaurants, sightsee or visit the Vol-
cano show. Bus transfer from town to the
airport for the flight back to Bakki. Return to
the base at around 7pm. $170/adult, $85/
child (4-11), $20/infant (0-23 months).

WINTER ADVENTURE 7:30AM
SUNDAY, MARCH 20
Departing from Keflavik by coach for a
genuine winter adventure! See and expe-
rience glaciers at close proximity. During
the tour you have a choice of riding an ATV
for approximately 1 hour or a snow mobile
for an hour on the beautiful coastline of the
South of Iceland, surrounded by spectacu-
lar scenery. It is necessary to bring along
warm clothing and sturdy shoes. All nec-
essary equipment will be provided and is
included. It is essential to present a valid
driving license in order to drive an ATV
or snow mobile. This tour is not recom-
mended for children. Price is $206/adult
(2 people sharing the snow mobile).
VIKING HISTORY TOUR 8AM
SATURDAY, MARCH 26
This tour takes you to the actual sites of the
famous Icelandic Njals Saga. Starting with
a drive through Reykjavik along the south
coast to Hvolsvollur the guide will describe
the settlement of Iceland by the Viking set-
tlers and then visit the Njala Museum at the
town of Hvolsvollur. In the museum a host
will take the tour around the museum and
go through the Saga. After the museum
visit and lunch the tour will go on to visit
some of the most significant sights of Njals
Saga. Return to the base at about 7pm.
Tour price does not include lunch. $105/
adult, $52/child (4-11), infants free.
