4th of July Celebration
Come on out and make this a great big Celebration.
Festivities will begin at 10am with the 4th of July Parade.
The National Anthem will be sung live and carnival rides
and games will officially open at 11 am. There will be a chili
and apple pie contest at 1pm and 1 st, 2nd, and 3rd place win-
ners will receive gift certificates from the Tour Office. Many
other prizes and giveaways will be handed out, so if you feel lucky, this is the place
to be. To end the day at 4pm there will be a Figurine Exhibition at Andrew’s Theater
performed by internationally acclaimed Master Puppeteer Bemd Ogrodnik.

Jeannette Lee - Professional Billiard Champion
Performing at Top of the Rock Tuesday, July 5 at 7pm.
Jeannette Lee received the Billiard & Bowling Institute of America’s Industry Service Award in 2002. She
is one of the world’s top-ranked pool players and received the prestigious WPBA Sportsperson of the Year
Award in 1998. She was also nominated for the same award in 1995 and 1997. Jeannette Lee was named
1994 WPBA Player of the Year by both Billiards Digest and Pool & Billiard Magazine.
After playing pool for three and a half years, Jeanette turned
pro in January 1993, and in less than two years became the
No. 1 ranked player in the world by the WPBA.
Jeannette Lee takes her profession to heart and in 2000 pub-
lished a book The Black Widow’s Guide to Killer Pool.
She was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 13 and now serves
as the National Spokesperson for the Scoliosis Association,
Inc. and founded a charitable organization, The Jeanette Lee
Foundation, whose purpose is to demonstrate that any goal
can be achieved, despite one’s disability.
She is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Women’s
Sports Foundation. Jeanette’s nickname is “The Black Wid-
ow” because of her known ability to devour opponents, along with her custom of
wearing only black during tournaments.
Jeanette Lee’s performance will include
a 15 to 30 minute introductory speech at
the pool table, a Trick Shots demonstra-
tion to include challenge games with the
audience, and an autograph session.
So come on over and see if you have
what it takes to play with the pros!
This event is open to all hands 18 years of age and older.
