Local aircraft, flight surgeon dispatched
on Nord, Greenland ‘mercy’ mission
A civilian employee of the
Danish weather and seismographic
station at Nord, Greenland, was
treated for acute abdominal pains
Tuesday at the naval station dis-
pensary, after being brought here
on an emergency rescue mission.
Since no favorable conditions
for treatment of the pain existed
in Greenland, Kurt Allen Larsen,
the Danish civilian, was brought
to Keflavik by an HC-130 air-
craft of Detachment 14 of the
