Year’s first USO show
- Singers Ho - plan
9 local performances
The year's first USO show will
featdrc the group "Singers Ho"
from Hardin-Simmons University in
Abiline, Tex.
The seven co-eds and seven
young men, who are on a 28-day
tour of the northeast area, will
present a series of programs
ranging from renaissance music to
modem popular. "Scarborough
Fair," "The Creation," and
"Aquarius" will be among the many
numbers they will perform.
The program schedule will be
as follows: 8 p.m. Wednesday,
February 4 at Andrews Theater; 8
p.m.Thursday, February 5 at Grin-
da vik; Friday, February 6 at H-3,
and later that evening at 8 at
Rockville. Saturday, Singers Ho
will perform at the CPO Club at
p.m.; Sunday at the Polar Cl
4 p.m. and at the 56 Club
p.m. On Monday, February 9,
group will conclude its perfor-
mances at the O'Club at 9 p.m.
