Tonight's silent film at the USO Club
is "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" filmed
in 1914.
Saturday afternoon is the big ping
pong match between Rear Admiral H. G.
Rich and Fire Chief Sveinn Eirksson.
It begins at 1 p.m.
Sunday is the Reykjanes Exploratory
trip between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The fee
is $1, and be sure to bring your lunch.
At 8 a.m. there is a service and pancake
breakfast.
Monday, Sloppy Joe sandwiches are
featured.
Tuesday is the Mini-Kef Tour, between
2 and 5 p.m. for 50 cents.
Wednesday, Icelandic lambdogs, or
"Pylsur", are featured. There will also
be a sheepskin drawing.
Thursday at the USO there will be a
new, enlarged menu for the snack bar.
Friday you can join in the personal-
ity quiz. Get your form at the USO and
Joanie, Diana or Julie will be waiting
to interpret your answers.
The USO Club is open daily from 9
a.m. to 11 p.m. The snackbar is also
•open every day between 11 a.m. and 7:45

green rice, corn fritters with hot syrup
and buttered broccoli spears.
Dinner: Chicken with rice soup, Swiss
steak in condensed tomato soup, Rissole
potatoes, buttered mixed vegetables and
steamed spinich.
Saturday—Brunch is at 10 a.m.: cream
of mushroom soup, grilled cheese sand-
wiches, french fried potatoes.
Dinner: vegetable beef soup, baked
Cornish game hens, or barbecued chicken,
brown chicken gravy, mashed potatoes,
buttered lima beans and Harvard beets.
Sunday—Brunch is at 10 a.m. Cream
of chicken soup, hot Reuben sandwiches,
crisp potato chips.
Dinner: Mongole soup, baked stuffed
pork slices, brown gravy, O'Brien pota-
toes, Lyonnaise wax beans, seasoned
greens, spiced applesauce and hot corn-
bread.
Monday—Lunch: logging soup, baked
beef casserole, veal parmesan, golden
potato balls, tossed green rice, butter-
ed peas & carrots, fried hominy and hot

kee pot roast, natural sauce, paprika

chicken with corn flake crumbs, brown

Wednesday—Lunch: bean with bacon
soup, spaghetti with meat balls, baked
lasagna, assorted pizza pies, buttered
broccoli spears and corn on cob.
Dinner: puree mongole soup, grilled
pork chops, cottage fried potatoes,
boiled blackeye peas with ham seasoning,
buttered summer squash.
Thursday—Lunch: beef with barley
soup, hot turkey sandwiches, turkey
gravy, snow flake potatoes, bread dres-
sing creole lima beans, and augratin
cauliflower.
Dinner: cream of chicken soup, beef
pinwheels or breaded veal cutlets, to-
mato gravy, oven-glo potatoes, sauteed
corn and seasoned greens.
Friday—Lunch: clam chowder, fresh
Icelandic fried fish, stuffed cabbage
roll with tomato soup, baked macaroni &
cheese, buttered garden peas and creole
summer squash.
Dinner: cream of mushroom soup, sim-
mered corn beef with apple glaze, hot
mustard sauce, paprika potatoes, butter-
ed string beans, creamed carrots and hot
cornbread.
PTO meets this week
The Parent Teacher Organization will
hold a general membership meeting Tues-
day at 7:30 p.m. in the upper school
multi-purpose room. Topics of discus-
sion will include this year's scholar-
ship program. Also, elections will be
held for next year's executive board.
