TODAY: 7:50 p.m.—WHAT'S HAPPENING—
Raj, Dwayne and Rerun become frantic
second-story men when they change
their minds about giving Mrs. Collins
an empty package for her 25th anni-
versary as a teacher.
TODAY 10:20 p,m.—SWITCH—Mac is
framed for murder. Meanwhile, Pete
comes into a $100,000 bonanza which he
uses to set a trap for the man respon-
sible for Mac's imprisonment.
SATURDAY 7:35 p.m.—BARNEY MILLER—
Cockroaches aren't the only tugs infest-
ing Captain Miller's squad room when an
exterminator accidently uncovers several
concealed microphones.
SATURDAY 9:00 p.m.—CITY OF ANGELS—
Wayne Rodgers (formerly of M*A*S*H)
stars as the hard boiled private eye,
Jake Axminister, in this series set in
Los Angeles during the 1930's. In this
opening episode, Jake tries to clear a
starlet of a trumped up murder charge.
He becomes entangled in a plot involv-
ing the local police, the city's lead-
ing newspaper and a number of military
bigwigs.
SUNDAY 7:35 p.m.—FAMILY HOLVAK—The
Holvaks temporarily board a bumbling
youth, causing a conflict with their
son, Ramey.
SUNDAY 10:15 p.m.--MARCUS WELBY—Dr.
Welby is summoned back from vacation
when Dr. Kiley is hospitalized follow-
ing a stroke. Janet returns, stricken
with remorse at seeing her young hus-
band lying paralyzed.
MONDAY 7:00 p.m. —BIONIC WOMAN—The
life of the Shah of Amin and that of his
young son, the crown prince, are in dan-
ger because the Shah will not raise the
price of oil.
MONDAY 9:30 p.m.—ALL IN THE FAMILY—
The Super Bowl game brings many happy
customers to Archie's pub. Archie is
having fun too, until two robbers decide
to take all the cash from the saloon-
and from the happy customers.
TUESDAY 7:10 p.m.—LITTLE HOUSE ON THE
PRAIRE—The Galender family moves into
town and immediately goes on a rampage
of stealing, cheating the merchants and
terrorizing people.
TUESDAY 9:15 p.m.—MOVIN' ON—Sonny
and Will deliver a load of steel and,
they negotiate for another pickup with
a dictator manager of a small steel
mill. Then the sparks fly!
WEDNESDAY 8:40 p.m.—MASH—Hawkeye and
Charles face problems of a different
nature: an officer with a cold blooded
knack for predicting casualties prompts
a violent reaction from Hawkeye.
Charles suffers embarrassing results
from the consumption of a gourmet feast.
WEDNESDAY .0:15 p.m.—ANDROS TARGETS—
A United States congressman is the tar-
get of a criminal investigation launched
by Mike Andros after he is linked to a
fortune in diamonds discovered in a
plane c~ash. A former lobbyist, now in
prison, states he was framed in this
matter.
THURSDAY 8:00 p.m.—STAR TREK—For the
second time in his career, Captain Kirk
encounters a certain strange force that
threatens the universe. Disregarding a
priority mission, he becomes obsessed
with the need to destroy that force.
To do so, he uses an energy bomb more
powerful than ten thousand cobalt bombs.
THURSDAY 10:25 p.m.—HAWKINS—Hawkins
defends his former girlfriends's son,
who is found in a murder victim's hotel
room minutes after the killing took
place.
FRIDAY 7:00 p.m.—SPACE 1999—An out-
burst of strange hieroglyphics on all of
Alpha's screens portends its encounter
with a "space brain" that is programmed
to destroy Alpha. Commander Koenig
hopes to intercept and destroy it with
a series of nuclear explosions.
FRIDAY 10:20 p.m. —SWITCH—It appears
Pete's judgement is impaired when he
discovers his childhood sweetheart is
engaged to a man he instinctively dis-
trusts. He looks ridiculous in his
attempt to prove the man is a sinister
character, and he also finds himself
accused of murder. Mac steps in to
prove murder indeed has been commited,
but not by Pete.
Channel 4 movies of the week
FRIDAY 12 p.m.—KATHERINE—A young
heiress becomes disillusioned with her
affluent lifestyle after witnessing
poverty and political suppression in
the United States and South America.
After joining a young radical activist,
she gets pregnant and more deeply invol-
ved in anti-establishment. The revolu-
tionary life of the 1960s contributes
to her destruction. Stars Sissy Spacek,
Art Carney, Henry Winkler and Jane
Wyatt.
SATURDAY 12:10 a. m.—DAYTON' S DEVILS—
An ex-Air Force officer trains a group
of hand picked specialists into a dis-
ciplined military squad in order to pull
off a 1.5 million dollar payroll robbery
at an Air Force base. Stars Rory Cal-
houn, Lainie Kazan, Leslie Nielsen and
Hans Gudegast. (1968)
SATURDAY 1:05 a.m.—LAS VEGAS LADY—A
gang of female thieves plan the daring
robbery of a wealthy Las Vegas casino
owner to finance their escape from the
seedy lives they have been living in
the fun city. Stars Stella Stevens,
Stuart Whitman and George Dicenzo.

TUESDAY 10:55 p.m.—TO KILL A CLOWN—
In an attempt to save their marriage, a
young couple leaves the city for an iso-
lated island. The owner of the guest
house is a psychotic killer! Stars Alan
Alda, Blythe Danner, Heath Lamberts and
Eric Clavering. (adult)
WEDNESDAY 11:05 p.m.—VISIONS—"You Can
Run. But Not Ride." A Vietnam*veteran's
readjustment to civilian life is compli-
cated by haunting memories of the war and
his frist meaningful romance. He suffers
the loss of his father, to whom he was
able to relate. His father often de-
scribed his own war experiences which in-
cluded a narrow escape from the Germans.
Stars Tom La Grua and Robert Symonds.
THURSDAY 11:40 p.m.—THE ABDUCTION OF
SAINT ANNE—A contemporary drama focusing
on a cynical small town detective, who is
hired by a Roman bishop on commission from
the Vatican. His mission is to investi-
gate the reported sainthood of a lovely
17 year old girl, the daughter of a re-
tired gangland chieftain. Stars Robert
Wagner, Lloyd Nolan, E.G. Marshall and
William Windom. (Note: Material may be
offensive to a segment of the viewing
audience.)
FRIDAY 11:10 p.m.—THE HEARTBREAK KID—
This bittersweet comedy is about a newly
wed husband who becomes disenchanted
with his bride while on a Florida honey-
moon. He meets and immediately falls in
love with a teasing blonde whom he de-
cides to marry in spite of his marital
status. In a halarious scene, the heart
break kid confronts his wife, divorces
her, pursues the blonde to Minneapolis
and marries her. Stars Charlie Grodin,
Cybill Shepherd and Eddie Albert.
