How are your legal affairs?
..."Am I properly insured?" "Do I
have to include my salary from my
part time job/on my tax returns?"
"How do I get out of this financial
rut?"
These are questions you may have
asked yourself and may still be
asking. To many of us, the world
of finances and law is so complic-
ated that we would rather not think
about it. This could be dangerous
if we have gotten ourselves tangled
in a web of unclear contracts, con-
solidated credit and the long form
1040.
Almost anything you do, from
buying a car or home To getting a
part-time job can have an effect on
where you stand legally and
financially. So there is no way to
forget your problems, they*11 never
go away by themselves. But you
don't have to face them alone and
unprotected either.
Your legal assistance officer
can advise you of your legal rights
under federal and state laws con-
cerning consumer protection, credit,
insurance, tax liabilities and
firearms control and other services.

Veterans Day
continued from page 1
Many thousands of Americans did
not return to the United States
after World War I and are resting
in graves all over Europe. In
1923, the American Battle Monuments
Commission was created to erect and
maintain memorials in the United
States and foreign countries where
U.S. Armed Forces had served. The
beautiful chapels and other mem-
memorials, which are part of these
cemeteries that would be
established years later to honor
the dead from World War II, Korea
and Vietnam.
